About
Malin Wättring is a professional musician, composer, and teacher in music & yoga, based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Saxophone is her main voice — alongside guitar and vocals — and she moves within modern jazz, improvisation, and experimental music. Specialized in Yoga for Musicians, she supports fellow musicians in cultivating balance, strength, and freedom in both body and mind. She also works with sound and frequencies as a healing practice, offering sessions as a sound healer.
Malin strives to create from the same source both in her artistry, teaching and yogic practice— presence, intuition, and deep listening. She has taught both beginners and advanced students, including at university level, and is passionate about holding spaces for curiosity, embodiment, and playfulness.
With a Bachelor’s degree in improvised music from the University of Music & Drama in Gothenburg, and several artistic awards for her work, she continues to explore creative flow through sound, movement, and presence.
